Article Name : | | INVESTIGATION ON OPTICAL AND THERMAL BEHAVIOUR OF GLYCINE MAELATE FOR OPTOELECTRONICS APPLICATIONS. | Author Name : | | Mohd Anis | Publisher : | | Ashok Yakkaldevi | Article Series No. : | | ISRJ-340 | Article URL : | | | Author Profile | Abstract : | | The high optical transparency glycine maelate crystals were grown by slow evaporation technique at room temperature. The grown crystal was subjected to optical and thermal studies. The optical studies ascertained high optical transparency and cut off wavelength was found to be 361 nm imperative for nonlinear applications. The optical constants, extinction coefficient, refractive index, optical conductivity, complex dielectric, optical band gap, reflectance were determined to scrutinize the electronic band structure highly demanded for optoelectronics applications. The thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) confirmed the grown crystal is stable up to 1700C.
