To achieve this purpose of the study, forty five women students were selected from Mother Theresa Women’s Hostel, University of Madras, Chennai, Tamil Nadu. The age of the subjects ranged between 21 to 30 years. They were divided into three equal groups of fifteen each, Group I Underwent yogic practices programme, Group II underwent self-massage with yogic practices programme and Group III acted as control that did not participate in any special training apart from their regular curricular activities. The subjects were tested on selected criterion variables such as Blood Pressure was measured by sphygmomano meter, heart rate was measured by sphygmomano meter respectively. The data collected from the three groups prior to before and after the training programs on the selected criterion variables were statistically analyzed with analysis of covariance (ANCOVA). | Keywords : | | - yogic practices
