For the purpose of the study 4 teams of semi finals that means 64 female hockey players of Railways (n = 16), Jharkhand (n=16), M.P. Academy and Punjab (n = 16) national female players of teams were included in the analysis. Their age ranged between 18-25 years. Table 1 reveals that there is significant difference in mental toughness among senior national female hockey players as the calculated âFâ value was 4.37 is greater than the table âFâ value 2.76. Findings reveals that the Railways team was much more mentally tough in compared to other three. Jharkhand team was mentally tough in compare to M.P. Academy and Punjab. The final played between Railways and Jharkhand and Railways defeated to the Jharkhand with 8-2 goals, secured first place. It could happen because Railways players involved themselves more to prepare mentally and confidence to participate in various tactical moves in different situation and team coordination during the game. Railways defeated to Punjab and Jharkhand defeated to M.P. Academy in semi finals matches. M.P. Academy secured third place defeated to Punjab. | Keywords : | | - mental toughness
