Article Name : | | EFFECT OF 4 WEEKS HYPEROXIC AND HYPOXIC TRAINING ON SELECTED BIOCHEMICAL VARIABLES OF CRICKETERS | Author Name : | | Amit Dixit , Pardeep Kumar | Publisher : | | Ashok Yakkaldevi | Article Series No. : | | ISRJ-379 | Article URL : | | | Author Profile | Abstract : | | The purpose of this study was to know the effect of hypoxic training and hyperoxic training on selected biochemical variables such as High Density Lipoprotein (H.D.L), Low Density Lipoprotein (L.D.L), Haemoglobin and Red Blood Cells Count (R.B.C) of Cricketers. Forty district level cricketers were selected and divided in to two groups for the purpose of the study. The selected subjects were trained athletes. Both the groups were acted as experimental groups. One groups was trained at sea level, whereas, other at 6000 ft altitude. The training was given for a period of four weeks. All the subjects were tested on the selected biochemical variables before and after the training program. All the selected variables were tested with the help of lab experts. Dependent‘t’ test was employed to find out the mean differences. | Keywords : | | - hyperoxia
