Education is globally being percT The present study was conducted to find out the effect of brain hemisphere domination on overall performance of male artistic gymnasts. To conduct the study, 50 male gymnasts (Ave. age 21.62 yrs) who took part in inter-university artistic gymnastic competition were selected as sample. Brain Hemisphere Domination Test (B.H.D.T.) prepared by Agashe and Helode (2007) was used to assess left, right and integrated brain hemisphere dominance of selected male gymnasts. To assess performance of gymnasts, scores on floor exercise, pommel horse, still rings, vaulting table, parallel bars and horizontal bar events were summed up and used as performance scores of gymnasts. Results reveal no significant impact of brain hemisphere domination on performance of male gymnasts. It was concluded that laterality of brain unable to predict the overall performance of male gymnasts taking part in artistic gymnastic event.
